The Hampshire School Choir Sings At Peter Jones

Chelsea school children bring Christmas cheer to shoppers

No less than sixty-eight children from The Hampshire School, Chelsea, will brighten shoppers’ afternoons with a series of Christmas carols performed in Peter Jones store. The children, from Year 4 through to Year 8, will line the second floor of the store for passers-by stopped to admire the festive performance. Deputy Headmistress at The Hampshire School, Kim Fisher, said we expect the event will been a huge success.

“The children’s voices lift will the roof off Peter Jones along with our spirits,” commented Ms Fisher.

“A wonderful opening to the Festive Season.”

Peter Jones Community Liaison Coordinator, Dushka Bosnjak, organised the children's performance. “The Hampshire School children sing beautifully,” said Ms Bosnjak. “It will be a real pleasure to have them with us for the afternoon and I’ve no doubt they wil brighten up our customers’ Christmas shopping!” The Hampshire School has a long running relationship with the Peter Jones store, having turned on the store Christmas lights earlier this year and having sung carols in store in years gone by.
